Crosses, plates and altars were constructed alongside the fence, all around the enclosure, and new motifs were carved in the old monuments. The old paths were excavated, and there were improvised burials everywhere. At the time of the fifteenth Lord of the State, the old cemetery was turned into a place where the residents of the Hamlet buried their animals. Within 12 years the domesticated animal population doubled. With considerably less people to help with labor, farmers turned to dogs to help with herding, pigs to search for rare delicacies (truffles), and horses to pull plows. In a few decades, the population was concentrated around a town square and a new cemetery was founded. With the regional population reduced by plague, the survivors migrated to the center of a new village. The tenth and eleventh lords of the state increased the size of the cemetery by digging out crypts that allowed the villagers to properly dispose of their dead relatives by burying them in sacred land, since, with recent conflicts, the priests of the Light weren’t in the favor of the lords. And with more people permanently moving to the state from foreign kingdoms, eventually there was no more room in the consecrated land. It wasn’t too long until the fences of the graveyard had to be pushed out to receive more corpses. It seems that, originally, it was built for the families of the servants that worked in the house, but with the increasing population of the state, the eighth lord decided to allow the villagers to bury their people in the outskirts of the cemetery, which earth was also consecrated. The old cemetery: I haven’t been able to date the old cemetery yet, but I know it was already old during the period of the eighth lord of the state, who talks in his letters about the process of restoration of the enclosure. It also seems to be structurally related to this last flower, but the tree doesn’t grow vines, the flowers just grow from the branches. The other aspect of the scent is sweeter, similar to the jasmine flowers but less pronounced. Botanically speaking, it seems to belong to the citroideae subfamily, although it doesn’t produce fruits. The sweet scent of this flower is very interesting. –A.C.Ībout the perfume of the “Nightmare Flower”. People collect its nectar to prepare a mixture called “Tears of Hypnos”. Its nectar is very thick and has a penetrating perfume. It grows from the first stages of the tree’s development, until its final days. It’s a purplish closed flower with an odd number of petals. Its popular name is “Nightmare Flower” not because it causes nightmares, but the opposite - it drives them away. There is a flower that grows in this region that is currently on a waitlist to be classified by the experts at Monico University.
